FALL 2025 classes start week of September 22, 2025
PLEASE NOTE: Payment is required to complete your enrollment and secure your spot in the class of your choice. You will get a link to our secure payment page after submitting your registration.

No matter how much Spanish you know (or don’t know) our classes are designed to help you increase your ability to speak and understand Spanish.
We offer beginner and intermediate Spanish classes taught by fluent Spanish speakers. Learning Spanish as a second language improves communication and helps cultural connection. It also enables community partners to better care for the Spanish-speaking community.
Our classes focus on the key elements of language learning: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. No prior experience with Spanish is needed!

Cost: $100 per semester session.
*Required textbook for all levels: Complete Spanish Step-by-Step, by Barbara Bregstein, Premium 2nd Ed. — $30 from RPM or Order online from Amazon.

SSL – Level 1 – Part 2 (Beginner – no prior Spanish experience required)
Mornings: Tuesdays 9:30 am – 11 am — Classes run from Sept. 23 – Dec. 2, 2025.
Instructor: TBA
Maximum in-person class size – 22 persons.
Course Content: Complete Spanish Step-by-Step, Chapters 8-15
No Zoom option for this class.
Evenings:
Mondays 5 pm – 6:30 pm In-Person and via Zoom – live.

- In-person class limited to 26 students. Zoom option, no limit.
- In-person students may also use the Zoom option when this is more convenient for them.

Wednesdays 5 pm – 6:30 pm In-Person and via Zoom – live.
- Classes run from Sept. 24 – Dec.3, 2025.
- Instructor: Joel B Groat
- In-person class limited to 26 students. Zoom option, no limit.
- In-person students may also use the Zoom option when this is more convenient for them.
- Course Content: Complete Spanish Step-by-Step, Chapters 23-30

For the FALL session Tuesday morning classes meet at RPM offices: 1530 Cesar E Chavez Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Parking available in our lot located at 1538 Clyde Park Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Use this address for your GPS. After parking, walk north to stoplight, follow sidewalk around to our office entrance on Cesar Chavez.

Fall 2025 – Monday eveing LEVEL 1 classes and Wednesday evening INTERMEDIATE classes meet at The Potter’s House Christian School: 810 Van Raalte Dr SW Grand Rapids, MI 49509 (Park along street and enter on west side of building – Door D – furthest entrance to the South). Door opens 15 min prior to class start time. Enter the foyer, come down stairs to the left. First classroom on the right.
